2/9/05
Wow, it has been a long time guys. This semester is going to be intense!! We have a lot of new members and a lot of great
new ideas! Make sure you check out the smack talk and keep those forums going. There will be a meeting in the basement of
Wood Hall on Sunday, Feb. 20th. Anyone and everyone who is interested show up! See ya all there and lets hope for some better
weather soon.
10/3/04
Another fun weekend of paintball. Unfortunately the tournament we were planning to watch down at Rogue didn't happen,
and their tourney on the 17th doesn't exist either. But having two new people come out and try the game for the first time
was a blast! Hope to see Tara and Brad again! Heads up for a meeting coming up soon, after our budget goes through we're going
to have a lot to talk about.
9/10/04
Welcome back to school everyone! This year is going to be a major trial for the paintball club. WE ARE GOING TO TOURNEYS!!!
There is no hype about it, it is happening. We are going to get some major funding and things are going to be much more serious
than you might think. First event is this Sunday at Mike's field. Things are going to be a little slack until we meet for
our funding and such. But keep the faith and we'll all have a great year! Spread the word!! If you know anyone who wants to
play make sure you get them involved!!
5/8/04 Good Weekend Guys!
Another great weekend of paintball for the club. Fun was had by all, including the 3...count them 3 spectators that came
out to watch the fun!! Props to the gals for the moral support ;) Check out the stats page for the results.
4/22/04 Field clean up and changes to tire course
Sometime this weekend some hearty recruits from the club will be going up to the fields to provide some much needed clean
up and repairs. Also some slight changes to the tire course will be made, namely the take down of the unusual center bunker.
Anyone interested in helping out get a hold of me somehow and we'll plan out when we will head down there.
4/21/04 Final game of the semester
Saturday May 8th will be the final game of the semester. This will be a primarily speed ball day again, with some ventures
up to the woods area. Also we are going to try out the official x-ball rules of tourney play. So we are going to have people
rotated in and out of play for refs and such. Theres a link on the site for the official x-ball rules. Go check it out and
tell everyone who seems interested in paintball!
Great event this weekend!
This past Saturday was possibly the best paintball experience of my life thus far. Good numbers came out to make for
some hella cool games on all 3 fields and formats! The highlight of the day was most likely the newly revamped tire speedball
course (thanks to Rich, Steve, Travis and myself). New bunkers and a newly beefed up snake made this course fast and intense.
Head shots and bunkers were common which made the game intimidating but still fun. Thanks to everyone who came out. I hope
all our events are that much fun.
