Medals
To recieve medals you must be nominated by two people for every medal they choose to nominate you for. Once nominated
a random group of three people will pass a final judgement to determine if the canidate gets the medal or not. No material
medal is rewarded yet, although we're working on it, as of now it is just the cyber version and bragging rights.
The Bronze Star (TBS)
"For heroic or Meritorious Achievement of Service, in connection with Operations Against an Opposing Armed Force."
This medal is usually awarded to someone who performs a small act on the battlefield that swings the tide of the battle
to their direction. It could be a simple lucky shot at a key opponent, or a stealthy bunker that allows teammates to advance
on the objective.
The Soldier's Medal (TSM)
"For Heroism by those serving with the US Army in any capacity that Involves the Voluntary Risk of Life under conditions
Other Than Those of Conflict with an Opposing Armed Force."
This medal is awarded to players who make an aggresive move on the field that helped their team acheive victory. It could
be an opening break in speedball past the 50 line. Or running straight up the middle under a hail of fire in woodsball.
The Defense Superior Service Medal (DSSM)
"Superior Meritorious Service in a Duty of Great Responsibility while Assigned to a Joint Activity."
Awarded for a player that stood their ground when the heart of the enemy attack was upon him. This medal is hard to earn
in speedball, however surviving a bunker assualt I would consider valid. In woodsball its much easier to award. A player
holding a important bunker or flank when being attacked by multiple people would merit this award.
The Silver Star
For Gallantry in Action Against an Opposing Armed Force.
The Defense Distinguished Service Medal
Exceptionally Meritorious Service in a Duty of Great Responsibility.
Distinguished Service Cross
Extraordinary Heroism in Connection with Military Operations Against an Opposing Armed Force.
The Medal of Honor
For Conspicuous Gallantry and Intrepidity at the Risk of Life, Above and Beyond the Call of Duty, in Action Involving
Actual Conflict with an Opposing Armed Force.
